It is with great pleasure to announce that my first ever Donors Choose page has been FULLY FUNDED!!! I am so excited to share with both you and your child that we will be getting 5 tablets to use in our classroom. A HUGE thank you to the Sutinen and Royer families for being some of the donors. Students will be told during morning meeting on Monday!
Since my first Donors Choose page went so well, I spent my Sunday morning & afternoon putting together a few more projects to benefit your child. Currently all 3 of them are in the "pending review" stage from the company. In addition, since I am now on my 2nd, 3rd and 4th project through this site, the special "LIFTOFF" promo code and preview of my project does not work this time around. HOWEVER, if you still go to my page you, your family & friends and whoever else you share this news with can DONATE to my teacher page . Once my projects are "approved" by DonorsChoose.com I can quickly apply your donations to my projects. When my projects are "approved" that is when they become visible to the public and I can share the links directly with you. Until then, use the link below to share with friends and family for now to donate any willing amount.
The next 3 Donors Choose topics are:
1. Making Learning FUN Using Hands on Resources
-I have asked for educational supplies such as literacy games, more dice, blocks, counters and other manipulatives for math.
2. Educational Magazines for Early Learning
-I asked for a subscription to Scholastic Magazine to introduce a new type of literacy media to your Kindergarten student.
3. Tech Accessories Needed to Ensure Safety & Protection of Tablets
-Lastly, I put together a page to purchase tablet cases, headphones and headphone splitters (in order for students to work on partner games/activities on the tablets).
If you do have any questions, concerns or comments about these projects please don't hesitate to directly contact me.
**DON'T FORGET TOMORROW STUDENTS HAVE GYM ....Please have your child wear sneakers or at least pack sneakers in their backpack.
