Happy Thanksgiving Kinder Families! What a beautiful Thanksgiving it is going to be! I hope you all travel safe and enjoy time spent with family and friends! As you know, we had a very short week...but A LOT OF FUN with several Thanksgiving activities. On Monday, we had our classroom harvest party! Students created a fantastic turkey that they brought home in a bag on Monday evening. Students were able to identify colors, work on their fine motor skills and sort colored pasta in order to complete this project. The students even enjoyed a delicious fest of fruits and vegetables after creating their turkey! Below are some photos: For fun, our class watched Charlie Browns Thanksgiving. After, we discussed what a Venn diagram was and filled it in as a class. We discovered some things we had in common despite the silly cartoon! In addition, our class met the 7th graders from Mrs. Doyon's class. Each kindergartener was paired up with a big kid to complete a Thanksgiving mat! Students had to tell their 7th grade buddy what they were thankful for. The 7th grade buddy scribed for the Kindergartener and then they got to color together :) Comments are closed.
